On a typical sunny afternoon in San Bruno, California, Nasim Aghdam, a female YouTuber, walked up to the YouTube Headquarters building and began to open fire. Why? Because YouTube has become the beacon of tyrannous Marxism, and if you do not align with the radically Left Socialist ideology…then you will be censored, banned and your content removed. It appears, Nasim Aghdam, as insane as she seems to have been, was yet another victim to the out of control censorship by a leftist controlled social-media platform, which tragically motivated her to carry out an attack on the YouTube HQ.
Aghdam had reportedly told her father “she hated the company because of how they treated her videos.” She could also be seen and heard on her website saying, “YouTube filtered my channels to keep them from getting views!” There is no equal growth opportunity on YOUTUBE or any other video sharing site, your channel will grow if they want to!!!!!” (website has now been taken down)
While her actions at YouTube’s Headquarters yesterday was entirely uncalled for, in the sense of being censored on a leftist-controlled social-media platform, Aghdam is nowhere near being alone in that boat. Facebook, Google (owns YouTube), and Twitter are ALL guilty of censoring users on their platform, however the only content being censored are those whom do not align with the radical Left.
Thousands of Facebook pages, YouTube channels and Twitter feeds were removed from existence following the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida, on Valentine’s Day earlier this year. Some of these pages had over 500,000 followers, and simply for mentioning the name “David Hogg” in the context of pushing a radical left political agenda got those pages removed from the platform entirely with little or no warning.
These radically left aligned social-media platforms decided after the Parkland shooting that they were no longer going to allow the alternative truth media to challenge the mainstream propaganda media narratives, that is tyranny in action. These platforms are not censoring pages which call for the President of the United States to be murdered, yet they are removing from existence pages which ask questions when they see the LIES of the mainstream media. There is a reason for this, and an agenda which these platforms are working towards.
Nasim Aghdam was absolutely wrong in how she reacted to the censorship. The only way to truly defeat the censorship happening in America is through innovation as well as the judicial and legislative systems. It is beyond overdue for a new social media platform which does not censor users for their political speech. There are also ways to petition the government to have social-media treated as a public utility, which COULD then be sued for violating the 1st Amendment rights of their users. As private companies, the courts reject 1st Amendment cases because they can deny you service if they so choose.
Imagine you were an artist…and you had a room filled with all of your creative masterpieces hanging on the wall. Imagine then that someone came and lit the room on fire and destroyed ALL of your hard work and years of artistic dedication…simply because the art on your wall did not align with whatever the arsonist’s political beliefs are. Wouldn’t YOU be a little upset at the arsonist if you were the artist?
This is what YouTube has been doing to its users over the past 2 years, ever since Patriots used the platform to get Donald Trump elected. YouTube would like to prevent American Patriots from spreading information about your Constitutional Rights and the like…therefore they actively censor those of us informing Americans about their rights and whatnot (Oh, the EVIL of it all)!!!
Book-burning didn’t work for the Fascistic Nazi’s in the 1940’s, yet here we are nearly 80 years after WWII dealing a bunch of radical Socialists burning the literature of their political opposition. We have multiple methods of standing up this peacefully, and it is beyond overdue for WE THE PEOPLE to stand up and do just that.
