Concentrated curcumin extracts from turmeric have been found to reduce joint pain and swelling among people with reactive Rheumatoid Arthritis much better than diclofenac. The standard for curcumin supplement is 75% Curcumin combined with enhancements can lead to long-term improvement in pain and function of patients who have knee osteoarthritis.

According to research, turmeric may also contain the potential to prevent the body changes that lead to the development of Alzheimer’s disease. It is also effective in the prevention and treatment of various types of cancer. It is important to note that high turmeric doses acts as a blood thinner and can cause stomach upsets. In case you are on blood thinning medication, are preparing to undergo surgery, pregnant or if you have gallbladder disease, you should avoid the Turmeric Curcumin supplements.
