    Brown rice and beans are full of lectins. Beans are OK if you pressure cook them. Organic apple peal is good for you, but apples have sugar, and cancer loves sugar. Salmon is great, but make sure it is Atlantic wild caught salmon. Farm raised has toxins from runoff. Tuna is fine, but limit your intake of white albacore. Chili is fine depending on how you make it. Pepper is fine, but you should grind your own as there is a risk of mycotoxins.

    Having said that, the rest of the list is good.

Especially speaking against beans!! with all the SCIENCE that links bean consumption with less disease and longer living… but I guess you’re right, FEAR THE LECTINS!!! Because….. ??? Evidence??? None. Don’t preach until you can follow your own advice (but IKNOW you cannot last long on extreme low carb BS, you will cheat and try again and again foolishly, ignoring the ASIAN CULTURE WHO THRIVE ON RICE AND BEANS AND LUCKILY CANNOT AFFORD RICH FOODS LIKE MEAT AND FISH THAT CAUSE DISEASE!! .. Starch based diets are abundant and healthy and satisfying.

        First of all, chill out. Good grief, eat your beans if you want. Secondly Dr. Steven Gundry has done the research reference lectins (read The Plant Paradox). You only addressed the lectin issue in my post and nothing else. I’m not trying to be funny, but I’ll bet you are vegan. Vegans can get militant about this stuff.
