The Power of Reading

Yes, books are still around.

Surprised? I would say so. As technology becomes more and more part of our daily lives, the use of books for many people around the world is slowly diminishing, but that isn’t to say that a percentage of people don’t indulge in a great adventure once in a while. Here are the top reasons you shouldn’t give up on them!

1. The most important point that will ever relate to reading ever. Knowledge is everything, and these days, it’s free. remember when you were a kid and there was that place down the road that was filled with books? You can go into a library and take out 7-8 books for free and keep them for a good 1-2 months! You never stop learning, so why stop reading?

2. When you watch Tv, your mind is not active, but when it comes to books, you are using your brain to think, concentrate and enjoy every page! It’s been said time and time again by people who decide to read, it’s like a movie inside your brain.

3. When your home and you have nothing to do, and nothing’s on TV, no where to go and no one to see, the best thing you can do is pick up that paperback and cure that bordem!

4. After watching TV for a period of time, you may find that you feel sluggish and in no shape or form motivated, well score for books as after you read all that sluggishness won’t be present and you’ll be on top of your game.

5. No offence TV, but you cause us to become brain dead. Reading on the other hand, enhances our mind and helps us to become smarter, even with fictional books.

Books are everywhere, and are completely underrated. They help with our creativity, increase our vocabulary, improve our writing skills and is a great exercise for focusing.

So what’s stopping you?
