This simple remedy made by hot peppers helps against joint pain as well as other types of pains, including radicular pain, myositis, neuralgia and rheumatoid arthritis.

It works by increasing blood circulation in the upper parts of the skin, increasing vitamin metabolism and acting on the activation of regenerative processes in the epidermis of the skin.

What you have to prepare:

  • 10 fresh red hot chili peppers
  • 2 cups of cold-pressed olive oil
  • 1 liter glass jar

Directions:

Cut the handles and grind the cleaned peppers into a meat grinding machine. You will get a cup of grounded mixture.

Place the grounded mixture in the glass jar and pour the olive oil inside.

Leave the jar in a dark place for 7 days , then strain the mixture through gauze .

The reddish oil you get can be used to relieve joint pain.

How to use:

Apply the oil to the sore joints and massage gently for some minutes. Once you rub it, you will feel a skin burning sensation, but it will be safe as the oil will deeply warm the skin without causing burns. Keep the oil in a dark place and do this procedure once a week, your pain will be relieved.

Other Common Herbal Remedies Used For Natural Pain Relief:

Ginger: Ginger may relieve joint pain because it contains phytochemicals, which help stop inflammation.

Feverfew: Feverfew has been widely used to treat migraine headache, fever, joint pain and arthritis.
It contains a compound called parthenolide which is said to help reduce inflammation, thus relieving arthritis, but more evidence is needed to confirm the effectiveness.

Turmeric: This spice has been used to relieve arthritis pain due to the chemical curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory properties.

Devil’s Claw: Studies showed this herb may be effective in managing arthritis and lower back pain. Its active ingredients are harpagide and harpagoside, both iridoid glycosides with analgesic (pain-relieving) and anti-inflammatory actions.

Boswellia: It contains anti-inflammatory and analgesic boswellic acids that can relieve knee pain and soothe the pain from injuries.
