Man-O-Salwa—the Holy Diet

Ingredients of Man-O-Salwa-the Holy Diet are holy and they are guaranteed by ALLAH SWT in the Holy Quran and Hadith to be absolutely full of nourishment, health and healing. This Diet is prevention from all disease, and the right nutrition for all.

Foods Allowed

Fruits:

Pomegranate, bananas, apples, peaches, grapes, dates (dried/fresh), citrus fruits, figs, water melons, coconut

Vegetables:

Cauliflower, garlic, ginger, cucumber, onion, olives (green especially), asparagus, carrots, lettuce, eggplant, squash, spinach, gourd, beetroots, and rhubarb

Lean Meat:

Mutton (shoulder-cut), lamb, young chicken (which haven’t laid eggs), oily fish (salmon, tuna, mackerel, sardines), seafood, quail, camel, eggs

Lentils and beans

Whole-grains/barley/corn/brown rice

Nuts: Walnut and pistachios

Seeds: Aniseeds, fenugreek, coriander seeds, mustard seeds, black seeds

Olive oil for cooking:

 

IMPORTANCE OF OLIVE OIL (ALLAH SWT  explained HIM SWT  BY A LIGHT OUT OF LAMP FUELED BY OLIVE OIL)

 

 

Translation:

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.

Butter and ghee (sparsely)

Milk (in moderation)

Date sugar and raw honey as sweeteners(in limits)

Herbs: Thyme, mint, basil, parsley

All spice: Salt (start your meal by it), saffron, pepper, cinnamon

Chamomile tea and coffee

Basic Dietary Principle: Moderation is the key!
