Ebola: The Truth About Turmeric

Turmeric is wonderful for a lot of things, but NOT Ebola.

Curcumin is the active ingredient in Turmeric.

Curcumin is the chemical compound found in Turmeric that has all the great health benefits you read about. It is an antioxidant that fights free radicals. This is of HUGE importance and therefore you should take a moment later to understand them. But basically antioxidants attach to broken cells in your body. These buggers want something to attach to and don’t care who they have to kill to get it, not even one of your healthy cells.

Studies also suggest that curcumin protects the cells from prostate, skin, breast, and colon cancer. [1]

This speaks for itself since you already understand curcumin’s role as an antioxidant.

One of the main reasons we all love Turmeric is that it decreases swelling and inflammation.

Curcumin lowers the levels of two enzymes in the body that cause inflammation. This herb is widely used for this sole purpose. But, curcumin also stops platelets from clumping together to form blood clots. This is not the chemical reaction you want occurring in your body at the time of Ebola infection. [1]

Taking Turmeric (cucumin) while infected with Ebola could kill you.

Okay it won’t be the tipping-factor, well I can’t promise that either. Because who knows that one. Really, if someone knows the answer down to that detail, can I get an interview?

The last thing you want is to take something that stops your blood from clotting. If your immune system can’t fight off the Ebola Virus, you will bleed out. Don’t help speed this.

Taking Turmeric induces the death of your white blood cells.

“Curcumin treatment induced apoptotic cell death in activated T cells via eliciting an excessive ER stress response, which was reversed by the ER-stress inhibitor 4-phenylbutyric acid or transfection with CHOP-specific siRNA. These results suggest that curcumin can impact both ER stress and mitochondria functional pathways, and thereby could be used as a promising therapy in the context of Th1-mediated autoimmune diseases.” [2]

That means down to the chemical level of your cells, the active ingredient in Turmeric (curcumin), sends a signal to your T cells (white blood cell). “Hey, kill yourself.”

And without a thought or hesitation, kill themselves. This is exaclty why turmeric is efective in autoimmune disease. It reduces the amount of white blood cells attacking your own body. It kills them off.

As soon as Ebola enters your body,  it goes straight for your T cells.

So don’t stop your use of Turmeric until things start getting close to home, or you believe you’ve been infected by the Ebola virus.
