In this study, two groups of participants (one healthy group, one group at high risk for lifestyle-related disease). It was found that for both groups, use of chlorella was able to improve such mechanisms as the transport and elimination of fat, blood sugar levels and the sensitivity of the cells to the use of insulin.

The research team also found that chlorella was able to shrink the amount of fat held within the fat cells, making it easier to lose weight as well as boosting the metabolism to increase energy levels and make it easier to burn fat.

How Chlorella Can Help with Obesity-Related Conditions

However, the benefits of chlorella for those are struggling with their weight does not end with just the burning of fats. One study, conducted in the laboratory, found that chlorella was also effective for helping with blood glucose levels, insulin efficiency and lipid profiles. This can help reduce the chances of those with weight problems from developing serious conditions like diabetes and heart disease.

So for those who are struggling to lose weight, chlorella should definitely be included in the daily diet. Not only does it help actually to burn fat, but it reduces the chance of serious weight-related health complications as well.
