Cancer treatment has always been the hot topic of research for the researchers. Several pieces of research have been conducted and many of those are still going on to develop an effective treatment method to cure cancer without any adverse effects.

Did you know that cancer is considered as the foremost cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide? Cancer is an abnormal growth of cells that results in the formation of lumps or mass of tissues called as tumors. These cancerous cells invade and destroy the neighboring healthy tissues and sometimes even organs.

There are hundreds different types of cancer and all are classified by the type of cells that are initially affected. Some of them include skin cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, oral cancer, colon cancer, lymphoma and prostate cancer.

What are the symptoms of cancer?

Symptoms of cancer vary depending on the location of cancer and the size of the tumor. Some of the cancer symptoms can be seen and felt through the skin such as a lump on the testicle or breast can be the indicator of cancer in such areas. Change in mole or wart often leads to an indication of Skin cancer or melanoma whereas white patches in the mouth or white spots on the tongue indicate oral cancer.

There are some cancers whose symptoms are less physical apparent. Certain symptoms appear early in the disease that affect the cognitive functioning, it includes some brain tumors. Cancers in Pancreas are small enough to cause symptoms unless they cause pain by pushing the nearby nerves or interfere with the functioning of the liver, thereby causing jaundice.

Some symptoms also develop as the tumor grows and pushes against organs and blood vessels. For example colon cancer symptoms, such as diarrhea, constipation, and changes in the size of the stool. Prostrate or Bladder cancer cause an alteration in the functioning of the bladder that include frequent or infrequent urination.

How is Cancer diagnosed?

It is believed that the earlier the cancer is diagnosed and treated, the better are the chances to get cured. Cancers such as skin, mouth, breast, rectum, prostate and testicles can be detected through routine self-examination or screening measures before the symptoms get worse. There are several cases in which cancer is detected and diagnosed only when tumor is felt or other symptoms appear, whereas in some cases, it is diagnosed incidentally as a result of evaluating or treating other medical conditions.

The diagnosis of cancer begins with a complete medical history and a thorough physical examination. Laboratory study of urine, stool and blood can detect abnormalities that may lead to cancer indication. If a tumor is suspected, doctors use certain image tests like CT (computed tomography), ultrasound, X-rays, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and Fiberoptic endoscopy to examine the location or size of cancer. For the confirmation of the diagnosis of cancer, biopsy is performed by taking the tissue sample from the suspected tumor and studying it under the microscope to check the cancerous cells

What are the treatment options available for cancer?

Treatment of cancer depends upon the stage of cancer, age, type of cancer, personal characteristics and health of the patient. As there is no single treatment method available for cancer, so the combination of therapies and palliative care are used to treat cancer, patient. Some of the treatment methods that are usually used for cancer are chemotherapy, radiation therapy, hormone therapy, immunotherapy gene therapy and surgery.

All these conventional treatment methods are used to treat cancer symptoms, but they all have their potential side effects that often become a curse for the cancer patients. These treatment methods deteriorate the health of the patient by affecting their healthy neighboring cells, leading to decrease in the immunity of the patient.

To avoid this condition, an alternative method was developed in homeopathy, in order to treat cancer symptoms without causing any potential side-effects and deteriorating the healthy cells of the patient. This homeopathic method uses molecular medicines that are developed through molecular homeopathy approach keeping the adverse conditions of the conventional treatment method and other parameters in mind. This molecular homeopathy directly acts on the cancerous cells without causing damage to the neighboring cells and eradicating all the signs and symptoms of cancer and providing immunity to the patient to fight against this deadly disease.
