Now you know why most of the famous fast-food chains are in this color. To counter that, it is best to eat on plates with more calming tone, like blue. You will be amazed on how doing this simple switch can help swing your appetite.

Tip #3 – Get Good Quality Sleep

This tip is probably not new to you and it is because it is the most important thing that most people who are trying to lose weight always forget. When you don’t get god quality sleep, your brain will immediately act like your body is stressed out. It will automatically release the hormone Cortisol. Excessive amounts of Cortisol in the body will increase your appetite and also make your body store more fat around your tummy area. It promotes weight gain and other heart-related diseases.

Tip #4 – Listen To Faster Music While Working Out

This makes sense because listening to fast music will automatically make you feel more energetic and if you are running, this will make you move faster and, therefore, sweat a lot.

Tip #5 – Do More Weight Bearing Exercises

Weight bearing exercises do not necessarily mean that you have to lift some dumbbells or plates. Do not forget that your body is a weight itself. Therefore, if you think you are not yet ready to lift some heavy weights, you should try exercises that will make you lift your own body weight instead. Exercises such as Pilates, suspension and resistance training, or yoga are some of your options. Weight bearing exercises will make you gain more muscle mass and increased muscle mass will improve your metabolism. It means that you will be burning fat and calories more efficiently.

Drinking water will help keep you hydrated more than an energy drink can. Energy drinks contain more artificial sweeteners that’s why you feel a sudden energy and then feel tired after a few hours. Water contains all the electrolytes you need and it costs a lot less. Drinking water throughout the day will also make you feel less hungry because it fills you up and you might not notice this, but there are a lot of instances that thirst is mistaken as hunger.

Tip #7 – Make Your Progress Public

Start a weight loss blog or post your weight loss journey on any social media site. By having followers or when you know that some people are watching your progress, this will help keep you motivated throughout your weight loss journey. At the same time, you will inspire other individuals who want to get fit and lose some weight.
