Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s acidic property helps to kill the bacteria causing toothache. Soak a cotton ball with Apple Cider Vinegar and apply it to the problem tooth.

Tea Tree Oil
Just a drop or two will do the trick. You can also add some to a cotton swab and hold in place or add a few drops of tea tree oil to a small glass of lukewarm to warm water and swoosh this around.

Lime
Cut a slice or wedge of lime and apply, bite into it if you can to release some of the juice. If you’re sensitive to cold, first bring the lime to room temperature if it was refrigerated.

Baking Soda
Take a cotton swab and moisten it with a bit of water, dip it in baking soda (coat the swab really well with baking soda) then apply. You can also make a mouth rinse by mixing a heaping spoonful of baking soda in a small glass of lukewarm to warm water, dissolve the soda then swish the mixture in your mouth.

Black Pepper
Pepper contains anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which relieve the pain of toothache. Mix black pepper with water to make a paste and apply it to the problem tooth and hold for few minutes.

Garlic
Garlic is nature’s most potent antibiotic. It prevents bacterial infection and contains sulfuric compounds including allicin which fight infection and inflammation. Apply the juice from crushed garlic to the infected area. Repeat regularly as needed.

Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide is a natural disinfect that kills bacteria and relieves pain and inflammation. Mix 2 teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide and a tablespoon of warm water. Rinse your mouth with the solution without swallowing.

Oil Of Oregano
Mix a few drops with a bit of olive oil, then saturate a cotton ball with mixture. Can replace the olive oil with lukewarm water if preferred.

Vanilla Extract
Vanilla extract contains a small amount of alcohol which kills the bacteria that causes toothache. Soak a cotton ball in vanilla extract and hold it in place. You can also use almond, peppermint, or lemon extract.

Potato
Potatoes have anti-inflammatory properties. They reduce swelling and absorb excess moisture. Hold a slice of fresh potato inside your cheek against the painful tooth, or mash some potato, mix in sea salt, and apply that to the problem tooth.

Lipton Tea
Hold a soaked Lipton tea bag against your painful tooth. The tannins in the tea will help to reduce the swelling and pain. Or you can try a cold wet tea bag if your tooth is not sensitive to the cold.

Guava Leaves

Cucumber is one of the best home remedies for toothache. It is a cool fruit and it can calm your sore areas. You can slice cucumbers into different pieces, chew it and you can add some salt to get better taste. This is an excellent snack and it contributes to heal toothache precisely.
