  • ¼ cup of chopped garlic
  • 3 cups of apple cider vinegar

  • 2 fresh red peppers
  • ¼ cup of grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of grated horseradish
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of turmeric

How to prepare

  1. Mix all ingredients in one bowl (except the apple cider vinegar).
  2. After you mix the mixture properly, put it in a large jar in a lid.
  3. Add the ACV in the jar, stir and cover the lid.
  4. Store the jar in a cool dry place for two weeks. It should be ready for use after two weeks.
  5. Take one tablespoon every day to kill infections and boost immune system.

Grapefruit seed extract

Grapefruit seed extract or GSE does a great job preventing fungal and bacterial infections. Make sure you dilute it before using.

  • I am in Australia and what people in the USA mean by red peppers can be quite different to what we mean. So we mean red chili peppers, or red bell peppers (capsicum). Which type do American people mean?

      Generally, U.S. recipes would say “red bell” or “red sweet” or name the specific hot pepper. This one did not specify. Either one has healing properties, but obviously the hot pepper is going to get the mucus flowing if you can tolerate the heat on a daily basis.

    I disagree with this. You do not need to make special conconctions like this. Just get wild Greek Oregano oil (100 % pure), I get mine on Amazon, then get a bunch of large fillable capsules at the health food store, and put a few drops of the oil in one and swallow it on a full tummy. It is a “hot” oil so you must take it as a capsule and have food in your stomach. BTW I see now it is available already in capsule form but I prefer making up my own and can vary the drops by 2-8 depending how I feel. I take one a day and it will keep you healthy. I haven’t had a cold for years now….nor any other medical illness. All I can say is try it.

      Might I also add that I felt a cold coming on hyesterday with running nose, so I went and had some toast and a capsule of my oregano oil, and today NO cold symptoms at all! Oregano oil is a anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-protazoan, herb with no side effects and the drug companies would LOVE to patent it and sell it to us for $1,000. a capsule but thank God since it is a herb, they can not….unless they fool with it and change it so not only will it be no longer effective, it will also have side effects…just like what they did with cannibis. Nothing beats pure and natural

    There are many antibiotic herbs but for any infection whether viral, bacterial or fungi I always use colloidal silver which I make myself using 99.9 percent silver coins and distilled water.

      The U.S. Mint never made “pure” silver coins because 99.9 percent silver is too soft to use in circulation. Dimes, quarters and half dollars were minted with 90 percent silver content through 1964.

    Regarding the above recipe, once the concoction has been stored in cool place for two weeks and is ready to ingest, how should I store, should it then be kept in refrigerator? Or just in cool place? And wonder how long it is okay to use/expiration date?
