Nutritional Supplements: Real Life Insurance

“Life insurance is a contract between an insured (insurance policy holder) and an insurer, where the insurer promises to pay a designated beneficiary a sum of money (the “benefits”) upon the death of the insured person.”

While most financial planners will advise it prudent to purchase this type of life insurance, I prefer a different type. I want life insurance where I am the beneficiary who receives the “benefits” while I’m still alive.

Nutritional Supplements: Real Life Insurance

My life insurance? Quality nutritional supplements.

It’s no longer even up for discussion. Given the level of toxicity in our environment and the devaluation of the quality of our food supply, it is impossible to obtain levels of all the nutrients necessary to sustain optimal health on a daily basis.

Impossible.

If you can’t get optimal levels of nutrition from your diet, how else are you going to arm your immune system with the ammunition it needs to protect your one hundred trillion cells?

The only option is taking quality nutritional supplements on a daily basis.

Notice the emphasis on ‘quality’.

Just like a hair stylist will tell you that not all shampoos and conditioners are the same. Not all cars are the same… rather own a Lada or a Mercedes? And not all accountants are created equal.

The same is true of the world of nutritional supplements. It is a highly unregulated industry.

It is common for a vitamin tablet NOT to dissolve in the human digestive system. Athletes have had medals revoked for taking a nutritional supplement containing a banned but unlisted ingredient. Supplements are regularly found to contain dosages less than that shown on the label.

What to do when confronted by the hundreds of labels in the health food store shelves? Want to take a quality nutritional supplement but don’t know where to start?

Check out NutriSearch’s Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements. In rating over 1,600 different multi-vitamin/mineral products, only a handful will provide optimal nutrition. In fact, if you take a supplement today, you might be shocked at the low score your product of choice gets in the Guide.

While good estate planning calls for a life insurance policy, make sure you also buy real life insurance… the type that benefits you while you are still alive: quality nutritional supplements.
