How Cancer is Mainly Caused by The Intake of Acidic Food

The leading cause of cancer is the food we eat.  A long time ago we consumed a diet of mainly alkaline food, but that has changed, and rate of cancer has increased. The majority doctors don’t inform you on the correct food to eat to stay free of cancer and what to eat to cause the body to remove it naturally.

The Foods we eat in today’s time contain both acid and alkalinizing forming elements. A diet of mainly acid-forming food can contribute to cancer. Unfortunately, that is a common diet here in the western culture.  American’s diet today is mostly acidic. If you are fighting cancer, you need to balance the body’s pH level because cancer will thrive in an acidic environment whereas an alkaline environment will remove cancer.

We see more people with cancer today more than ever before, and it’s because the typical western diet is far too high in acid-producing foods such as animal products which include dairy products.

The foods we used to eat like freshly grown fruit and vegetables were much better for us, so the best solution is to make some dietary changes.   The alkaline-acid ratio is measured on the pH scale which ranges from 0 to 14 with 7 being neutral. The lower end of the scale which is from 0 to 7 is acidic, and anything between 7 to 14 is alkaline.

The easiest way to find out what foods are either alkaline or acidic is to research which foods are alkaline or acidic more so than others, also test your alkaline level often.   While a diagnosis of cancer may have other contributing factors, the food we eat now is the main cause.

Many years ago before we had supermarkets we were eating a healthier diet, now because of processed foods and the popularity of fast food outlets our diets have changed. A diet of food from an acidic range is causing many health problems now, and cancer is just one of them.   For instance, many of our foods are refined, and most of our bread and other baked foods are made from refined white flour.

Some other examples of acid forming foods are; pasta, cheese, ice cream and butter, jams and jellies, alcohol and soft drinks. All acid forming foods are not necessarily bad; it’s just our diet is out of balance, and if you are dealing with any serious health problem it’s essential to look carefully at what you are eating.

Some of the alkaline foods are fresh fruit and nearly all freshly grown vegetables. Also consuming, nuts, seeds, grains and legumes are all alkaline foods. It’s important to remember that the changes you make to a more alkaline diet have many health benefits including removing cancer naturally.

While cancer has some other contributing factors, the most important cause is what we eat, because our health is directly related to our dietary choices. Our diet has changed over the last 40 to 70 years, and most of what we eat now is available in supermarkets and supermarkets have an overwhelming influence on what we now buy.

Much of what’s available in supermarkets is processed, and because of it, this food is low in nutritional value, and that is without question the reason why there is so much cancer now.   It makes a lot of sense if you are dealing with cancer that the first and the most important change you make is with your diet and that you select from a more alkaline range. Also, make sure it’s fresh and if all possible that it is organic.

    I agree with the last comment by Victor. I whole heatedly agre with the ideas but would like more research, references or further reading links. Also, the article stated to test your ph level often. How does one do this?

      You can buy PH strips and hold them in your urine stream and it will turn either yellow to a very dark green. You can buy them at a health food store or online at different supplement/health websites. Also being to alkaline is not good either it's best to be 7 or 6.5 on the scale. Eat Right for your Blood Type by Dr. Peter D'Adamo is a great book with lots of info.

    Good day Jacqueline, you may find the Alkaline test strips at Microessentiallab.com I use the one's with the ph range from 5.5 to 8.0. Test using saliva or urine, we need to be in the range of 7.0 or higher to help prevent cancer. Cancer can not exist in an alkaline state.

    @Joe, the fact that this is a blog is not relevant, especially from an established author and blog. It's not info, at least not credible info if there are no references. References not only support assertions by the author, but they allow the rest of us to explore the issue deeper if we're interested.

    //Cancer main cause is by the food we eat.// WRONG. Though, food intake contributes a lot to cancer, or getting cancer, it is NOT the major factor/contributor, it is GENETICS. Cancer is in the genes. It is well written in our DNA long before we are born , if our bodies are prone to forming tumors. A good diet is a good diet but it's not a guarantee for us not to get cancer at all. However, I dont downplay the importance of a good, healthy diet, for it lessens at least the possibility of cancer cells forming a tumor.

      We are not controlled by our genes Henry and to believe so is very dangerous !! People don't have to take responsibility just blame it on bad genes !!! Read some books by Bruce Lipton or others . Money corrupts true independent sciences just look at the hoax Climate Change many drink the punch and will repeat what they hear.The writes admitted its based on unverifiable predictions and not responsible for different out comes ? I say look at it from all sides where it comes from and who pays for that view !!!!Its easy to fool people its harder to convince them they have been fooled !!!!

      We all have the DNA for cancer. Cancer gets ignited by the foods we eat and it grows based on the foods we eat by traveling through the blood stream and lymph nodes to different parts of the body. Where is lands is the mystery and well as the why. I am the only person in my family tree that had cancer. I am the only person in my family tree that also has a brain tumor that is not cancer related.

    This makes absolutely zero sense, always has been and always will and here's why in a nutshell: The body has to be EXTREMELY tightly regulated at a pH of 7.4 + or – about .03, otherwise it will become septic and we die. So the sheer fact that "cancer can't live in an alkaline environment" and "we eat too many acidic foods making our blood too acidic" is literally, impossible. The blood can NOT go below 7 on the pH scale, otherwise we would long be dead. It's just a ploy to try to get you to eat vegan and stay away from animal products, even though for about 90% of the nutrients, they are by far the most nutrient dense food sources we have (organ meats).

      This article over simplifies the issue and fails to explain it properly but your understanding is mixed up. It is true that the blood is kept with in a narrow PH range and going overly acidic or alkaline in the actual blood would kill a person. The PH thing is not actually about alkalising the blood it is about alkalising the body so the buffering system that maintains the blood PH is not overly stressed. So the PH thing does have merit (though I think it is premature and overly simplistic to call it the cause of cancer or to say that alkalising the body is a sure fire cure) but it is true that an overly acidic diet puts undue stress on the body's buffering system which can cause various health problems. If you are eating an overly acidic diet you blood will not change PH but your body will be heavily stressed as it works hard to maintain your blood's PH. It has to strip minerals from you body to keep the PH from acidifying.

    Our stomachs have a pH as low as 1 or 2, or as high as 4 or 5 depending on what we are eating– but the environment in our stomach is ALWAYS acidic. So I guess our stomachs give us cancer.

    The talk is about acidic overall environment, not acidity in your stomach. The reference to pH is in regards to your chemistry, which for good healthy immune response, it has to be on the alkiline side (7.365). Eat more of the alkiline stuff and avoid as much as you can of the acidic foods then one should be ok. True though that sometimes genetics will win no matter what, but by eating right I believe we can delay damage to our tissues and be as healthy as possible.

    People like to be able to control their health, that’s why all these food articles and Doctors push all these diet. Although it might be a slight cause it is not all the cause by any means. The chances are if you are going to get cancer you probably will no matter what. And if you do have cancer it will be your fault for not eating right according to who ever. And yes I had kidney cancer… Must have been the water!

    Curious, how can this effect your blood PH? After all your stomach is full of acid to begin with, that is used to break down and prepare the food so it can be absorbed by the intestine.

      Coffee is roasted at high temperature, high temperature processing is not nice for anything, it creates un-natural substances. Try tea, prepared at the proper temperature it will not need any sugar. It is also less aggressive to your stomach. You love the taste of it soo much?

    While I think this article may have a good base message, ‘ eat more fruits and vegetables and eat less processed food.’ There is little to no scientific evidence provided by the author to substantiate the acidity causing cancer claim. Nor is there evidence to support an ‘alkaline’ diet reducing cancer instances or severity. One of the PubMed articles cited is talking about how too much sugar in the blood can create a favorable environment for cancer and the other seems completely unrelated.
    So good base message but poorly researched and written.
