    Thanks for posting these natural remedies for Sciatica! Yes, turmeric is indeed helpful. I consumed Turmeric when I was once suffering from Sciatica. In addition to turmeric, I did careful massage and exercise as well as applied hot and cold compress. These are natural methods yet very helpful in treating sciatica. Also, I did the following:

    1. Drink a LOT of water on a daily basis. This is the most basic yet most neglected step.
    2. Eat peanuts on a daily basis to loosen up the muscles surrounding the sciatic nerve.
